Malware the price

I thought this was interesting.


Malware, which includes viruses, trojans and spyware, is all about money. Estimates put the online shadow economy at about $105 billion, bigger than the global drug trade. Collectively, online criminals are using the techniques of the free market to subvert and corrupt legitimate online businesses. So how does one get protection against an enemy that changes its tactics every 45 seconds?

Freeware requests

Hello all! Has everyone had a chance to be reviewing/requesting freeware programs their interested in? I need a list of interest so we can compile the cd for everyone. Ask your parents if there is anything they might need or want!

Busy week ahead

The week will be busy. However, I am already looking forward to the coming weekend. As of Thursday noon, I will be off for the full weekend. Taking Friday off will allow a buddy and I to check out a paranormal meeting at a local library. We will be going camping Friday and Saturday night. I am sooo looking forward to it.


Regarding this busy week, I will be up at 1 est tonight for work (still on-call) due to some server upgrades. I will need to check the interfaces after they complete their upgrades. I have a School Board meeting Monday night, church Wednesday night, and fall co-op Thursday. Work on top of this all, equals a really busy week.

I am enjoying the quite time this weekend (shh on-call remember), with the family.
